Visiting the Golden Temple

If you have not been to the Golden Temple in Amritsar then you must visit this great temple of peace at least once in a life time. Manuela from Columbia who now lives in Chandigarh talks about her experience of her visit to the Golden Temple. She stayed overnight at the Golden Temple lodging and even ate the food (called the langar). She took some amazing pictures of the temple while she was there.


Didn't know that she even knew some of the history of the Temple and also the history of the Sikhs. She also mentions of the tragic events that occurred in 1984 when Indira Gandhi, the prime minister of India was shot dead by her Sikh bodyguards which then led to Sikh massacre in Delhi and certain states of India.
